Clarissa Chun
Clarissa Chun first joined Ballet San Jose as a Production Assistant in 2007 and became the Assistant Stage Manager in 2008.
She has also been a Production Assistant/Assistant Stage Manager for American Musical Theatre of San Jose’s productions of Beauty And The Beast and The Full Monty, as well as the co-production of Cabaret with American Musical Theatre of San Jose and The 5th Avenue Theatre.
After graduating Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Dance and a Minor in Japanese Language from Chapman University, she spent two years with the JET Programme in Kagawa, Japan teaching English. While there, she also Stage Managed and Choreographed Little Shop of Horrors with the Kagawa Players.
In addition to working backstage, Clarissa also enjoys choreographing and teaching Tap, Jazz and Musical Theatre at Dance Arts Center and Broadway By The Bay’s Youth Theatre Conservatory.
