The
Ballet San Jose Council was founded in 1985 as the Ballet's
volunteer support group. The Council's mission is to
ensure the continued vitality of Ballet San Jose Silicon
Valley by cultivating community interest in dance as
a cultural resource, promoting dance education, and providing
fund raising support.
Staffed with volunteers from around the Bay Area, the Ballet
Council also operates the Ballet Boutique at the theater. The
Council has raised over $2 million for the Ballet since its
creation, and organizes an annual
Gala.
The
