Every year, Ballet San Jose asks volunteers to come to the Center for the Performing Arts on the Tuesday of our Opening Week to ‘dress’  the lobby.   They set up over a dozen trees...string hundreds of feet of garland...hang wreaths...and  populate the entire theater with nutcrackers, toys, and poinsettia.  It truly does become a wonderland of surprises.  Once the ballet opens, choirs fill the lobby with songs and our Nutcracker characters pose for photos before every performance.  We call this...THE NUTCRACKER EXPERIENCE.
