American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum Teacher Training Sessions at Ballet San Jose

June 10-15, 2013 - Training Session #3: Levels 6, 7 & Partnering

June 19-27, 2013 - Training Session #1: Pre-Primary Level through Level 3

American Ballet Theatre will hold National Training Curriculum Teacher Training Sessions at Ballet San Jose. Enrollment in these intensive training programs is open to all dancers and dance educators. Candidates must have reached an advanced or professional level of ballet training. The ABT National Training Curriculum is a program for the development and training of young students that embraces sound ballet principles and incorporates elements of the French, Italian and Russian schools of training. Under the direction of ABT Artistic Director Kevin McKenzie, ABT’s National Training Curriculum was designed and written by Franco De Vita and Raymond Lukens in collaboration with ABT’s Artistic Advisors and the Medical Advisory Board.
