The Primary Division of Ballet SJ School is an
open-enrollment ballet program, offering one class a week for students
ages 3-10 years old. Classes in the Primary Division are open to all
students in the appropriate age range with no audition required. Primary
Division classes promote creativity and discipline while encouraging each
child to reach their highest potential. More information is available on

A pre-professional ballet training program for
students ages 8 and older, classes in the Pre-Professional Division
deliver the highest level of artistic training while providing a positive
and healthy training experience for students at all stages of physical,
emotional, and technical development. Class size is limited. Contact the

Classes in the Junior Division will focus on building a solid
foundation in ballet technique with an emphasis on proper placement and
safe progressions of movement while remaining sensitive to the
developmental needs of younger dancers. Until classes are filled, all
students ages 8-11 will be accepted into Ballet San Jose School, and
placed either in the Junior Pre-Professional Division or the Primary
Division based on development and experience. Contact the School Registrar

Intended for students who strive for the level of excellence
required to pursue a career in professional ballet, classes in the Senior
Division will provide focused study in an elite atmosphere dedicated to
the success of each student. Placement in the Sr Pre-Professional Division
is by audition only.

Open enrollment ballet classes for students ages teen to
adult are available on a drop-in basis, beginning September 4, 2013. Classes
on Mondays will be at an intermediate or advanced level from 7:00-8:30pm,
adapted each week to suit the level of those in attendance. Classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays will be at an
intermediate level from 9:30-11am. Classes on
Wednesdays will be beginning level from 6:30-8:00pm, suitable for students
with no ballet experience. All Open Adult classes will be taught by Ms.
Michelle Klaers D'Alo. No audition is required. As a new student your first
class will be free, otherwise classes are $15 a class or $130 for ten
